Bareskrim Polri (the Indonesian National Police Criminal Investigation Department) seized a luxurious house in the Narada Cluster of Alam Sutera, South Tangerang, in connection to the NET89 trading robot case. The house, as observed by detik.com on Monday (December 30, 2024), is valued at around Rp 15 billion and features lavish amenities including a lift servicing all 4 floors and a walk-in closet. The house, intended to be occupied by the daughter of the suspect Andreas Andreyanto (identified as MA), is not fully completed. While the interior partly awaits finishing touches, the exterior features a spacious yard for parking two cars and a special garden beside the vehicle entrance and exit. Moreover, the seized house is equipped with security features, including CCTV cameras on each floor and in various corners, as well as a smart door lock system.
The house’s construction was halted in October 2024 following the police’s discovery of ongoing disarray and renovations. The police line was set up to prohibit any further activities on the site after it was found to be a location of interest in the money laundering investigation of the suspect, Andreas Andreyanto.
Kompol Karta, the head of Subdirectorate II of the Directorate of Special Criminal Investigation (Dittipdeksus) at Bareskrim Polri, stated that the house was undergoing renovation since 2021, with work ceasing in October 2024 upon the police’s intervention. Despite the presence of a private lift, it remains non-functional as the electricity supply has been disconnected. Karta confirmed that the building will be utilized as a residence due to the existence of bedroom spaces and a kitchen across its 4 floors.
